What are the veterinary/age requirements?
Our primary concern is the welfare of the pets. For this reason, we require that all pets are finished with puppy boosters AND have their first round of adult vaccines. We recommend boarding with a vet before your pet has their first round of adult vaccinations. For dogs, we require a rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccine along with some kind of PRESCRIPTION flea and tick preventative. While we do not require any pets to be altered (neutered/spayed) in order to stay with us, we do require that all MALE dogs of ANY AGE be altered in order to partake in group play.
How do I register my pet for boarding/daycare?
You may call/text us at (239) 200-1639 (also available on WhatsApp) or email us at happytailsnaples@gmail.com with any of your boarding/daycare questions! We recommend inquiring about and/or booking any desired dates as far in advance as possible so that we can ensure we have space available.
What do I need to bring for boarding?
We prefer owners bring their dog's own food from home. Rapidly changing your pet's diet and environment by boarding can cause stress and upset stomachs. If your pet requires medication, please bring the medication in the original prescription packaging and we will administer for FREE as directed. Your pet's favorite blanket and toy(s) are welcome, but please identify the items with their names to prevent them from getting misplaced. If your dog has any food allergies and you want them to receive treats, please provide your own. Lastly, please bring your pet's collar and/or harness, as they will be needed for walks and/or for safety reasons. We have leashes available, however you are free to bring your own as well.
